WHO WE ARE
THREE FRIENDS BEHIND A PROTEIN REVOLUTION.
After years of suffering through smoothies, choking down chalkiness, and barely blending other vegan protein options, three friends decided that there had to be a better way. We spent hundreds of hours researching the highest quality protein sources and ended up with a three-way tie: fava bean, mung bean, and pea protein. By blending these three sources together, we could combine fava bean, a high fiber vegan protein source, mung bean, with vitamins, minerals and amino acids, and pure pea protein.
Vaia was also made without sugar, sucralose, aspartame, and other low-quality sweeteners from our blend. Instead, we decided that a blend of monk fruit and cocoa powder would be the best sugar substitute.
Finally, the team agreed to formulate, manufacture, and distribute all within the US. This would not only help the team ensure that the highest quality production standards were met but also help reduce our carbon footprint.
(Vaia fun fact #25 - that is also one of the reasons why we opted for the lightweight bag instead of a wasteful plastic tub).

Fava beans are the nutritious legumes that provide the foundation of Vaia's blend. They're rich in plant protein, folate and several other vitamins and minerals. Additionally, they have soluble fiber that can aid digestion and lower cholesterol levels*.
Mung Beans are rich in vitamins and minerals, as well as essential amino acids, making this one of the most complete plant-protein sources.
Pea Protein is a quality vegan protein and a great source of iron. It is known to aid muscle growth, weight loss and heart health*.
